Arlene is a recurring character on Grace and Frankie, portrayed by Marsha Mason.
Story[]
At one point, Arlene formed a friend group with Janet, Mary and Grace Hanson, but they parted ways shortly after Grace's divorce. Arlene became a friend of Frankie Bergstein as well.
Later, Arlene helped them promote the Vybrant vibrator with her Christian prayer group. Later, before Season Four, Arlene moved into Walden Villas at the advice of her son Scott. She stayed in this retirement community for the rest of the show.
Grace often visits her and remains her friend. While in Walden Villas, she starts dating her new beau, Don, who according to her, loves doing nothing.
